I've led the fight to double the number of CalFire firefighters in our communities and to bring billions in resources to protecting the North State.

Families are getting squeezed while costs keep rising. I’ve delivered real relief in California—lowering utility bills, expanding childcare, and making college more affordable. In Congress, I’ll raise wages, take on corporate price gouging, and fight to bring down the cost of living.

Women—not politicians—should make their own healthcare decisions. I’ve successfully fought to keep Planned Parenthood clinics open and to protect abortion rights in California. In Congress, I’ll defend reproductive freedom, protect access to contraception and IVF, and make these rights the law of the land, once and for all.

Our democracy is under attack by extremists who want to rig the system and undermine our freedoms. I won’t back down. I’ll fight to protect voting rights, civil rights, and labor rights, stand up to political violence, and ensure government works for everyone.

Our democracy shouldn’t be for sale. The Citizens United decision gave corporations too much power in our elections. I’ve fought to limit corporate influence in California, and sponsored legislation thats strikes at the heart of Citizens United disastrous effects on our democracy. In Congress, I’ll do the same to restore power to the people.

Housing costs are pushing working families out of their communities. I’ve worked to build more housing and cut red tape in California. In Congress, I’ll fight for investments in affordable housing, renter protections, and support for first-time homebuyers so everyone can live and work in their own community.

Rural communities deserve real investment. I’ve secured funding for job training centers and healthcare workforce expansion across Northern California. In Congress, I’ll fight for higher-paying jobs, better roads, expanded broadband, and economic development that helps our communities thrive.

Climate change is already impacting Northern California—from wildfires to drought. I’ve led the fight for stronger environmental laws and climate action, and taken on Big Oil. In Congress, I’ll push for bold climate action, invest in wildfire prevention, and protect our communities.

Donald Trump’s illegal war of choice in Iran is making everything more expensive and putting the lives of the brave women and men of the US armed forces at risk. This chaos is dumb, dangerous, and it costs us all.
